I am a web & graphic designer based in Lisbon, Portugal. I have developed graphic identities for press agency This is ground control (2017), restaurant Alex+Pinard (2017), cultural association Filarmónica (2018), dance centre Casa da Dança de Almada, and for exhibitions organized by Universidade Católica Portuguesa, amongst others.
I am currently collaborating with This Must Be the Place, developing identities & brand guidelines, websites and print materials.
I was the in-house designer at the Lisbon Architecture Triennale from 2015 to 2019. While there, I worked closely with R2 studio and Marco Balesteros’s Letra, the graphic designers responsible for the 2016 and 2019 editions of the Triennale, respectively. With them, I developed several print and online materials. At the Triennale, I also assisted designer Raquel Pinto in the design process of the new Triennale website.
I graduated in Communication Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lisbon (2014) and have continually complemented my education with different courses like, Front-end and Responsive Web Development at Edit, in Lisbon (2017) or workshops like The Institute Effect by Fabrica at the Lisbon Architecture Triennale (2013) and A WHAT and other OBJECT LESSONS by Nina Paim and Emilia Bergmark, during the 26th Brno International Biennial of Graphic Design (2014).
I enjoy novels that talk about people (currently reading the family epic The Corrections by Jonathan Franzen), and listening to indie-surf-rock (right now: Car Seat Headrest), and I’m innately curious about food and its rituals in different cultures (last workshop: Vietnamese cuisine). Thankfully, as a method, I channel my interests, tastes, and overthinking into the design process. I am always eager to find the next graphic problem to solve. Tell me what you need.
