Identity, Art Direction
Six architectural projects, a book, a short movie, a photographic series. Lisbon Acts is a project curated by The Lisbon Architecture Triennale, which selected a significant first project by six Portuguese architecture studios, and gave them as inspiration for a series of short stories by Patrícia Portela. The short stories were then a starting point for additional projects by Pedro Cabeleira (filmmaker) and Catarina Botelho (photographer). All of the works came together in an exhibition for the Belgrade International Architecture Week in 2018.
Floraennui is the book, part of Lisbon Acts, that included the architecture projects, and the fictional works around them: the short stories, the photographs, the film. The general idea was to think about how Lisbon has changed in the last decade and to serve as witness to how our ancient city has been the stage of a constant ideological, social, economic, and structural evolution.
